ADMISSION Instructions

Admission in any class shall always be at discretion of the principal.


In preparing our curriculum, we have sought out the best practices in national and international teaching programmes and examination boards. The information given here outlines the broad aims of our teaching at different levels in order to provide an idea of how a child will progress at St. Joseph's school.

The nurturing of a child's academic curiosity and development must be at the centre of what any school seeks to achieve. All applications in any class have to be made in writing only on the form obtained from the school office.Admission in any class shall always be at discretion of the principal.

No. of curriculum activities we also run:

  • No pupil less than 3 years or older than 4 years of age is admitted to the LKG. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the successive classes.
  • Students who have attended school must produce their transfer Certificate from the school last attended before being admitted and in the case of candidates coming from school outside the district the certificate must be countersigned by the inspector of school from which they come.
  • A new pupil who joins fresh from home of from a private school I has to produce an official birth certificate in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form.
  • All documents once submitted become the property of the school and are not returned, Fee together with the first three months fee must be paid at the time of admission.
  • Notice of withdrawal should be given in writing before the 15th of the month else the fee the following month will be charged. Such notice should be given by persons responsible for the pupil. An application form for the same is obtained from the school office.
